The Aegis hovering over a rain-slicked landing pad in a neon city at night

The game

You are never the strongest ship in the sector.

Astral Crossing is about command under pressure. Fuel, missiles, scrap and crew are always short, and every jump costs something.

The Aegis bridge: the captain in his chair, the navigator at his side, a gate ring beyond the glass canopy
The bridge · dark glass canopy, holographic consoles
Bridge

Command from the chair

A wide glass-canopy bridge with the real star system outside. Science, helm, comms, tactical and engineering are stations you work, not menus.

Live comms

Every hail is a scene

Callers approach on screen, then speak face to face. Scan first, answer, or go dark. Hostile hails give you twelve seconds to decide.

Crew

Officers with opinions

A voiced crew advises you, disagrees with you and remembers. Loyalty shapes what they tell you, and one of them is lying.

Away missions

Take a team down

Land on friendly bases or raid hostile ones with the captain and two officers. Real-time combat with pause, d20 rolls and cover.

Ship systems

Shields, doors, cloak

Route reactor power across shields, weapons, drones and a Key-powered super shield. Seal doors against fire and boarders.

The ancients

Custodians and the Hollow

Pass a Custodian's three trials and earn Key technology. Linger too long in a system and the Hollow come hunting.

Your ship

The Aegis

A mid-size tactical vessel, stripped down and rebuilt after a mission nobody will talk about. Damaged in ways no shipyard can fully repair.
